Di Lizheba: I feel like my nose is freezing off. It’s really cold. I feel like I’m shooting a movie outside the Northeast. And today I actually had a lot of fun shooting, and it was very fast. Looking at that scene, I’m really looking forward to it. It’s so cold that I can’t speak quickly.
Sina Entertainment: What kind of role did you play Lili this time?
Di Lizheba: She’s a girl who can’t make a sound, but she can hear the doorbell and the phone, but she can’t speak. Then she has a girly heart, and our script is very short, just a page and a half. One of my feelings for her is that she will be very anxious at first, because she ordered a headband online and is in a hurry to wear it to a date. In my opinion, she actually has a little low self-esteem. She doesn’t know if she should go. She doesn’t know if she will go, and if boys will be disappointed when they see her. I feel her emotions like this.
Maybe the audience didn’t know her when they first watched it, and they thought she might be very anxious and a grumpy girl, but I hope you will see the end, because our film is also very short. Di Lizheba: Yes, I learned a bit. I also learned some other things from our sign language teacher today, such as I love you, like you, etc. I think it is quite new, and I can learn a field that I have not covered before.
Sina Entertainment: We all know that you are a "little language genius", you can speak various languages and dialects, and netizens have made many collections of you. This time you have opened a new "language" category. When did you start to realize that you have a little talent in language?
Sina Entertainment: Actually, I especially admire those who are really good at multiple languages, I just can imitate, and I’m not very proficient in many languages. They are really good, but I’m not very good at it, because I may not have the patience to learn a language for a long time, and I don’t like to use my brain. As soon as I start to focus on one thing, I will let go, which is the kind of person who is stunned, so I may not be as good, but I can imitate intonation or something.
Sina Entertainment: Why did you decide to accept the invitation to participate in "The Most Beautiful Show" this time?
Di Lizheba: The theme of this time is bravery. I feel that I will be brave every once in a while, which is reflected in many things. For example, I started to travel bravely in the first two years, and then earlier was to change my personality bravely.
Because I am not a personality that can chat with people, my personality is actually very introverted, and I am not very able to adapt to and cater to this feeling of others. But maybe I have grown up over the years, and now I have learned how to grow up in my own environment.
So I feel like the word "brave" has always been around me, always in my ears. Because from the beginning of my debut, there have been some magazines, and the words fearlessness and bravery have also appeared. I think it will appear more often in a life dictionary in my twenties. So as soon as I see it, I feel like I have seen it, and I can give it a try.
Sina Entertainment: What is the difference between performing such a super-short work and acting in a movie or TV series?
Di Lizheba: To be honest, the filming was really fast today. In fact, I want to have a little more fun. Because I have also watched some clips of other actors’ "The Most Beautiful Performance" before, and after watching it, I will feel that there are some emotional tensions.
At the beginning, I felt that it would be great, and I would be able to release all the energy that your character needs to release. I was looking forward to that feeling at the beginning. Because my previous roles were all about liking someone or chasing a boy. Anyway, there will be more roles like this.
This time, after the director wrote the script, he sent me another real thing. I felt that since this was a real thing, it would be more important than the emotional tension I wanted to express, and it would let people know that there are indeed such groups in society that need our attention and more understanding and tolerance. I feel that this is also what I need to do. As an actor, I should show everyone.
Sina Entertainment: What does "the real thing" mean?
Di Lizheba: I forgot to be exact. It seems that a (deaf and mute) courier brother delivered the goods to the door. The other party didn’t seem to understand or what, so he typed to explain to others. I just think that every line is not easy, but I still hope that everyone can be like what I showed in the film. If the goods were not delivered at the beginning, they may be very anxious and torn in their own emotions.
Then when he left me a note to leave, my role was particularly regretful. It turned out that I was the same as him (deaf and mute people), but I didn’t understand him. He had more energy than me, was more positive, and wanted to improve himself.
Then she had the courage to chat with the boy she liked. I think the real incident of the courier brother that the director sent me is quite meaningful.
Sina Entertainment: How does it feel to work with director Lu Xing?
Di Lizheba: I was really happy, and then I figured out the director’s routine, haha. Usually he takes a shot, and if he is not satisfied, he says yes, stop. Then if he is satisfied with this one, he will pull the word "stop" very long, stop – and then I will say that this one is definitely over. It feels like we have known each other for a long time, although it has only been filmed for a short day, and we quickly understand his style.
Sina Entertainment: In the past year, you have broadcast both ancient and modern dramas. Do you prefer to shoot ancient or modern dramas?
Di Lizheba: In the past, I would set a limit for myself, that is, I may not be suitable for ancient costumes, and I am only suitable for shooting modern dramas. But now people will say, why do you feel like you have suddenly figured it out this year? In fact, I also feel that I don’t want to leave some regrettable experiences when I can shoot.
For example, I feel that a character is actually very good, or the script is also very good, and the line of the heroine is very smooth, or very attractive, but because I feel that my appearance or I may not be suitable for this role, I will deny myself. In the future, I will definitely think that if the role was played, it would be great, and I don’t want to leave too many such regrets.

Di Lizheba: "Long Song" really made me feel confident and learned a lot. I went from being a person who would deny myself and didn’t want to take on this role to telling the director that I would definitely say goodbye to the rivers and lakes when I finished.
