On the morning of April 20th, the 2023 Spring Sports Meeting of Business College of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics and Qiannan Economic College of Guizhou Province, with the theme of "Exercise strengthens physique and youth shows style", kicked off in the college football field.
Zhou You, Dean of Business College of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics and Qiannan Economic College of Guizhou, announced the opening of the Games, and Shu Yu, Vice President, delivered the opening speech. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Lujun, Vice President. College leaders, heads of secondary colleges (departments) and departments, and nearly 20,000 teachers and students from the whole school attended the opening ceremony.
With the passionate national anthem, the opening ceremony officially began. Wu Xukun, a faculty member, and Shi Shiwei, a student, took the oath on behalf of referees and athletes respectively. At the opening ceremony, the teams of all colleges strode forward and showed their heroic spirit. A total of 12 teams participated in the parade and display in this sports meeting. Their firm eyes are their unyielding quality, and their confident pace is their flying youth.
The sports meeting schedule is divided into two groups: the student group and the faculty group, with a total of 12 events. Teachers and students from 6 colleges participated in the sports meeting. On the afternoon of April 21st, all the sports events of the Games ended, and the closing ceremony and awarding ceremony of the Games were held in the college football field. After two days of fierce competition, the athletes have achieved excellent results.
In the end, the Accounting College, the Law College and the Finance College won the first, second and third place in the group with 174 points, 95 points and 88 points.
The success of this spring sports meeting not only showed the passion and vitality of the teachers and students of the Academy, but also carried forward the spirit of hard work and unity. I hope that in the future development, we can always maintain such a mental outlook and add the most beautiful life background to our lives.
